According to data released by the Australian Tax Office in Dec 2015, this company was one of 579 local and foreign-based companies that paid no tax in Australia in 2013-14. Please note however that companies pay income tax on profits, not revenue (total income). While some companies use tax havens and loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of tax in Australia, other companies that paid no tax have perfectly legitimate reasons.

While this company claims "we do not conduct safety testing on animals in respect of any of our products, nor do we commission others to do so on our behalf", they do not appear on the cruelty free lists of PETA, Leaping Bunny or CCF, nor do they appear on PETA's list of companies who do test on animals. Our research indicates they do not sell cosmetics in China, where cosmetics products must, by law, be tested on animals. However they are listed on Uncaged as a company who makes deceptive claims and continues to benefit financially from chemical ingredients that have recently been tested on animals by their suppliers.
