The company is the largest franchisee for the Domino's Pizza brand in the world, with over 3,100 stores across Australia, NZ, Europe, Japan and South East Asia. It is 89% owned by senior management and nominees, and operates as a separate entity from Domino's Pizza, Inc. Previously owned by Jack Cowin, owner of Hungry Jacks, who still owns 23%. The Domino's brand and system is owned by Domino's Pizza, Inc, a listed US company.

In 2010 a pizza restaurant owned by Domino's Pizza Enterprises was fined $60,000 after a council inspection found it was infested with cockroaches. The Mt Gravatt store was found guilty of 20 breaches of the Food Act during the Magistrates Courta hearing. The breaches, which occurred in 2008, included 20 to 25 cockroaches observed in the store's preparation area, more cockroaches and cockroach eggs under a bench and more in the cold room and other areas. In one case, a cockroach was found in a meal.
