In 2008 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) investigated claims by 20 former Bakers Delight franchisees in 2007-08 alleging misleading, deceptive and unconscionable conduct leading to the loss of their businesses. The ACCC cleared Bakers Delight of any wrongdoing in April 2008.
