UK food producer Premier sold its meat-free foods division, including the Quorn and Cauldron brands, to UK firms Exponent Private Equity and Intermediate Capital Group in 2011. Quorn was introduced in Australia in 2010. Exponent is a private equity firm founded in 2004 that invests in UK headquartered businesses with an enterprise value of between £75m-£350m.
