Gourmet food manufacturer

Established by iconic Australian cook, Maggie Beer, and her husband Colin Beer, in 1996. Producer of gourmet pates, ice creams, sauces, fruit pastes, jams, oils, vinegars, verjuice and preserved fruits. Based in the Barossa Valley. Melbourne-based Longtable Group acquired a 48% stake for $15 million in 2017, and became full owners in 2019.

Investment company

Previously a technology investor known as Primary Opinion Ltd, the company switched to investing in the food and beverage industry in 2017 by acquiring Maggie Beer, and biodynamic dairy company Paris Creek Farms. The company changed its name to Longtable Group in 2017, and then to Maggie Beer Holdings in 2020.
