Founded in the UK in 2001 by two brothers of Indian descent, who still own 25% each, with private equity firm TDR Capital owning the other 50%. One of the UK's largest private companies. Operates petrol stations in Europe and the United States, and entered the Australian market in 2019 after buying 540 fuel convenience sites from Woolworths.

Petrol stations

In April 2019, Woolworths sold its 540 service stations to the EG Group for $1.72 billion. Since the sale, Woolworths-branded service stations have been progressively rebranded into EG stations.
