J. W. Childs Associates
Social Aspartame
JW Childs owns Nutrasweet, the world's largest maker of aspartame. 75 per cent of complaints to USA's Food and Drug Administration are related to aspartame. When processed in the body, the components ' phenylalanine, aspartic acid, and methanol ' break down into formic acid and formaldehyde, both of which are toxic in low doses, affect the brain and immune systems, and have been associated with retinal eye damage and birth defects.
