Founded in 1855, the company is now run by its fifth generation. Known for their writing instruments, Schwan-STABILO are also a leading private label manufacturer of cosmetic pencils worldwide, with almost all internationally renowned cosmetics companies amongst its customers. In 2006 they bought outdoor goods company, Deuter Sport.
