In 2012 three companies were fined for fixing the price of gasoline in Kingston and Brockville, Canada between May and November in 2007. The Competition Bureau says Pioneer Energy, Canadian Tire Corporation and Mr. Gas pleaded guilty to the charges. Canadian Tire was fined $900,000.
