Social Allegations of misleading customers
A class action filed against this company in 2022 alleges that Beyond Meat misleads consumers about the quality and amount of protein in its substitute meat products. Beyond Meat not only miscalculates the protein content of its substitute meat products, but also misleads consumers by falsely advertising that they "provide equivalent nutritional benefits to that found in traditional meat-based products," the Beyond Meat class action alleges.

Business Ethics Legal dispute with former supplier
Beyond Meat was in a legal dispute from 2019 until 2022 with their former business partner and supplier, Don Lee Farms.
