In April 2019, Woolworths sold its 540 service stations to the EG Group for $1.72 billion. Since the sale, Woolworths-branded service stations have been progressively rebranded into EG stations.

Social Worker safety fines
Europlast (Blackburn) Ltd, a company co-owned by this company's owners was fined for "appalling" safety breaches, a BBC investigation has found. A worker lost four fingers in 2015, weeks after the brothers resigned as directors. Europlast (Blackburn) Ltd showed "a total lack of care about the safety of its employees", according to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Europlast (Blackburn) Ltd was prosecuted and pleaded guilty to this incident in 2017, paying a fine of 60,000 GBP.
